it is just an amazing unit. everything was thought of. don't need to bring anything, it was perfect! also a sofa that was extremely comfortable for sleeping. linens, treats, supplies beyond measure!

you can do everything by foot
nina's check in process was excellent. she really tries to make it as seamless as possible. wish all apartments followed her process. there are manuals for all the appliances and her internet is top notch. although it is a studio everything was designed so that it felt roomy. great sound proofing so that although you are on the first floor, you don't hear the cafes below. you couldn't ask for a better location. it is located on the river, there is a market nearby and the shopping street is just around the corner. many cafes and restaurants are nearby. you can do everything by foot.

studio EMMI is in an unbelievable location smack bang in the middle of the old town action overlooking the river - it is nevertheless perfectly insulated from any outdoor noise by double glazing and thick walls. on arrival we received a thorough introduction as well as complimentary wine, chocolate, biscuits, grapes, almonds and figs - very generous - so very welcome after a long days travel. the kitchen was amazingly well provided for in terms of crockery, cutlery and everything else you might need. the washer dryer was a boon to us as we were on a lengthy trip from australia.

a bit pricy, but all in all the right price for the best apartment you can find in ljubljana
cool apartment located in the center of the city center. just a few minutes away from all the attractions. apartment is small, furnished with designer furniture and there is everything (and more) you need. we were welcomed by a very kind girl who offered us dried figs, almonds, local salty chocolate and a bottle of good chardonnay.

a little jewel of a flat in the center of ljubljana's old town
the listing was spot on. impeccably designed and a perfect use of space, nina's design for the space should be in a magazine.
easily one of the coolest spaces I have ever stayed in. you know when you walk into a space and just feel a sense of calm come over you? that was this place. super super clean, bright, and cozy. thoughtful touches, like an Illy espresso machine and complementary (good quality) dark chocolate bars with sea salt.
I could not recommend this place more highly. the next time I'm in ljubljana (and there will definitely be a next time) this is where I'll be staying.

the location is excellent, in the heart of the city with a wonderful view from the windows of the river and cathedrals.
the design of the apartment is very interesting (even talented), with a cool layout and full equipment of modern design as well. the place was clean and tidy with wonderful atmosphere, art, refinement. this was the best city apartment for the time of my travel (I visited 48 countries).
I was given a very nice 10% discount in the nice restaurant with a good bar downstairs.
EMMI is the perfect place for people of all ages who value originality, comfort, modern style and care of the guests - it is a place where you want to go back!

the apartment is full of inspiration, looking at the interior design ideas, and of course the view - especially at night - is fabulous! after 8 hours of train ride i first did some sightseeing, some window gazing and then took a small stroll along the river.

beauty, convenance and comfort
I travel quite a bit for work and live out of the US 9 months out of the year. it's so refreshing to find a place to stay that is clean, comfortable and in a perfect location.
nina (the owner) has gone through great measures to make this apartment perfect for your stay and I was not disappointed. the apartment is laid out in a way so that there is no waisted space. there is plenty of room for 2 or 3 people and I never felt like I needed more room.
my wife and I stayed for 8 weeks and my wife had a friend join her for 2 of those weeks, we all enjoyed the space together. nina was kind and helpful and went above and beyond what would be considered standard as far as helping us goes.
we have enjoyed our stay and will look back with fond memories
of this beautiful place.
I hope someday we can return to ljubljana and if we do we will defiantly stay here.

there is only one word to describe EMMI and that is perfection!
there is only one problem with EMMI and that is that we will compare all of our future VRBO rentals to this one and I am afraid that it will be hard for any of them to compete!
we have rented many times before, and although we have had some wonderful experiences, none can compare to EMMI! first of all, the location is perfect..... right in the middle of everything with wonderful views, and yet very quiet. the apartment was immaculate! it was like staying in a 5 star hotel-everything was top quality-the linens, robes, slippers, glassware...you name it! There was a bottle of wine in the refrig as well as some other goodies. we were met by nina who was delightful! she gave us all kinds of information and was a real joy to meet. the apartment, although small, is the most efficient use of space that we have ever seen-you can tell that this is a family of architects!
there are excellent restaurants all around, especially the one right downstairs in the same building-it was fabulous.
we loved ljubljana, the slovenian people and EMMI-we will go back and would not hesitate to recommend this apartment!

this charming studio apartment with the latest high tech , high speed internet and built in washing machine, dishwasher, and flat panel tv was perfect for our week long visit to ljubljana!
the pop up internet connection and power on the center island allowed us to immediately plug in and connect with colleagues across the globe with crisp video conferencing and excellent internet speeds. the creature comforts including the modern bathroom and built in washing machine and coffee machine were handy as we could people watch out our window while waiting to finish laundry. then head out for a stroll along the river and cafes that make the old town so famous! 2 minutes walk to the farmers market as well as the funicula up to ljubljana castle and the outdoor ballet performance at the nearby performing arts center completed our week :)
we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the gracious hospitality of our hosts and look forward to returning !

we just got back from my stay at this amazing place.
this modern newly renovated and furnished apartment can comfortably accommodate 2 or even 3 guests. everything in the apartment is new and spotless. I think the owners are the architects, the place is very modern. it is small, but fully furnished. loved the view, especially from the bay window.

the living room is spacious and the kitchen is well equipped (and beautiful!). when I was there, during the winter, I was very impressed by the quality of the bed and the top class design. the extremely contemporary furniture and facilities are a real surprise in a historical building.
it is a perfect place to stay wether you want to explore ljubljana intensively or for a relaxed weekend, it would satisfy anyone’s needs.
